When I was doing the research for this post on marble accessories, I came across a number of home accessories in H&M home which were stylish and SO affordable.
Their stuff is great if you just want to add a few things to update your home without breaking the bank.
Here are some of my favourites.
When I have friends over for dinner, I like to serve up something interactive - something that is a bit more fun and hands-on than just a plate of food. It helps everyone relax and start chatting away.

I don’t normally have problems sleeping, but every now and again, my mind won’t stop and getting to sleep is impossible. The next day I will normally be unproductive, crabby and a lesser version of my best self.
Lace up shoes are set to be a big thing as soon as this country defrosts, and I have been seeing them pop up all over the place.
Marble is gorgeous, timeless and classic and looks good in almost any form. I’ve heard it is making a comeback in 2015, but I am not sure it really went away.
Kitchens and bathrooms look obscenely good in a white and grey carrara or calacatta but it doesn’t come cheap. If like me, you want that luxe look of marble without the huge costs, then accessories are the way to go. And lucky for you, I’ve spent hours trawling the internet finding these beauties!

I was discussing valentine’s day with a friend this morning and we came to the conclusion it is really for those in new relationships or for couple’s that don’t live together. For the rest of us - single or in long-term love, it is perhaps a bit of a misconception…
I have recently had the delight of dining at one of Birmingham’s best restaurants - Purnell’s.
Valentine’s day is just around the corner and I for one haven’t bought the Mr anything yet - and I bet I am not alone in my tardiness. Here is some inspiration for those other late love birds out there.
