Postcards from The Alps

Hello. I’m sorry I’ve been missing - loads has happened and somehow time has flown by and there has been little opportunity for blogging.

Since I last saw you I have finished one job, started a new one, been skiing, nipped down to Landan, popped over to the Canary Islands and hosted a party. Blog posts on most of these topics to follow. Oh, and I had to get a new computer and new photo editing software to go with it and this, alongside trying to get to grips with a new job in the day, has fried my brain.

So, to ease myself back in, here are a few pictures of my time in the beautiful Alps.

I went with a friend to the Port du Soleil region and stayed with family friends in Saint Jean D’Aulps which was just starting to thaw out from the winter. It was beautiful. They had recently renovated their studio apartment which is behind their chalet and we were lucky enough to stay there. Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures but they had done it beautifully. A perfect little winter bolt hole.

We skied some days, and took it easy on others - when I enjoyed lovely spring walks down to the village to pick up patisserie, breads and coffee.

One day we went into Morzine and sat outside with blankets on our knees, soaking up the sunshine in a very french restaurant.
