Last summer I was lucky enough to fulfil a dream and visit the beautiful island of Santorini. I am a big fan of Greece, and this island has been top of my list for a while. It is so incredibly picturesque! Here are some of my snaps - they have me longing for the sunshine and summer again.
For the first few days of our stay on the island, we stayed in iconic Oia (pronounced eeya) which is at the north of the island. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, you get amazing, mesmerising views over the Caldera (which is basically a volcanic basin). Waking up to this every day was a dream.

I think this has got to be the best breakfast spot I have ever experienced. I had a pinch me experience every morning when one of the hotel staff would bring this feast in to our room on a tray and set up on the balcony. The food was so simple, but so delicious. Cheese toasties, pastries, boiled eggs, delicious bread, fresh orange juice and strong coffee. I can’t think of a better way to start the day.

The small town is bustling from morning to night. Paved in marble, there are gorgeous views everywhere you look. From painted white walls, blue domes and bright blue sea and sky.

^^The perfect spot to contemplate life, right?^^

One day we trekked to the bottom of the cliff to Ammoudi Bay. There is a perfect swimming spot where you can jump off the rocks into the beautiful blue sea. Once we had dried off we found a gem of a restaurant where we ate with our toes practically in the water, slurping on chilled wine, scoffing fresh seafood and Greek salad. I had the best prawn saganaki ever - so tasty and fresh.

Dreamy.
