Over Easter, Mr B and I decided to nip away for a bit of sunshine.
We headed to Feuterventura in the Canary Islands for a few days.
We checked in to Barceló Castillo Club Premium, and didn’t leave for the days we were there as it had everything we needed on hand.
Our room was large and had the best view in the resort from a large private sun terrace.
It’s the first time we’ve stayed somewhere like this, normally favouring stand-alone hotels, but the resort-type holiday was perfect for just a few days relaxation. We were half board so there was a great restaurant for us morning and night, and we had access to a number of lovely places to eat for lunch.
The staff were great – really helpful and friendly everywhere we encountered them. And as for Feuterventura itself, I can’t comment too much as we didn’t see much but we benefitted from delicious Spanish food and Cava (at super cheap prices). The only downside was as we were so early in the season we had a bit of bad weather on one day.
We played mini golf and tennis, took walks along the beach, had lie-ins and even had a kiss from a seal, and the break was over all too quickly.
