I have a serious Pinterest obsession, and I love trawling the site for home, fashion, recipe and travel inspiration.
During my pinning, I have spotted a striking print come up time and time again in great interior shots. It’s simplicity really caught my eye, and I realised I had pinned it on my ‘interior ideas I love’ board quite a few times, in its different incarnations.
But could I figure out where to buy it? I spent ages googling ‘black and white map’ ‘black and white new york poster’ ‘black and white paris print’ ‘black and white paris map’ etc etc and I couldn’t find it. I searched high and low, and it wasn’t until I took to Instagram that I found out where it was from.
The prints are from a series called My Guide To by Swedish artist David Ehrensträhle, where, in his words he has ‘created a personal guide to interesting cities throughout the world’.
I’ll make it a bit easier for you if you would like to get your hands on one. Just click here and Bob’s your uncle, you can buy one for your very own home.
They are between £60 – £80 depending on what size you have, and they are shipped pretty quickly and come well packaged.
You can pick from New York, Paris (which I think is sold out), San Fransisco, Bombay, a Monumental Guide to New York and the latest addition to the collection is London – which I was quick to snap up.
I propped it up in our kitchen as soon as I had it framed, in what I expected to be a temporary position but it has stayed there for weeks now and will probably live there for some time to come!
Have you ever spotted a picture of something and and not been able to find where to buy it?
You can keep up with what I am oggling at on Pinterest by following my boards – just search The Green Eyed Girl in pinners, or click here.
Hi
Wondeirng if you managed to buy a ready made frame for their poster as they do not seem to be readily available in UK. I’m just trying to cut cost by not using a bespoke frame.
Thank you.

Hi there, I couldn’t find a ready made frame either and had to have a frame made. It wasn’t too expensive though, and I think you get frames made online too, although I’ve never done it myself.
Good luck, hope you find something
