Well, that was an accidental break from blogging for almost the whole start of the year.
“If you get tired, learn to rest, not quit” -Banksy
I read this quote recently and it really resonated with me. It made me think, it may have been a long rest, but I definitely didn’t quit!
Blogging is my hobby and for the first time in years, I decided to dedicate my spare time to not doing much at all. I hope you understand and that you’ll stick with me as I get back in to my blogging stride.
Because oh my goodness, have I got LOTS to tell you!
I have a whole host of blog posts itching to be released from my fingertips, but there are TWO things I wanted to tell you about right now …
#addictedtointeriors is back!
If you aren’t familiar, last year my interior-loving friend Jennie and I set up #addictedtointeriors events to bring together Instagram-obsessed interior-lovers in the Midlands.
We held one amazing event and promised to organise more.
It took a little longer than expected but we are so pleased to finally announce our next event, and I think you are going to love it.
Moodboard Masterclass with #addictedtointeriors x Loaf
This fun and interactive workshop is perfect for those who love interiors but don’t know where to start in pulling a scheme together?
We have partnered with Loaf Home, and in the comfort of their gorgeous showroom in Solihull we’ll teach you the basics of putting a moodboard together and explain how it can be the starting point for any interiors project you’ve got in mind.
We’ll give top tips and guidelines of what to consider for your interior project and by the end of the night you’ll have created your own moodboard using fabric samples, paint charts, magazine cuttings and more.
When: 1 May 2019 @ 7-9pm
Where: Loaf Shack Solihull, Mell Square Shopping Centre, 59-65 Mill Lane, Solihull B91 3AT
Tickets: £20 plus £1.55 booking fee
To find out more and to buy tickets, please visit the events page here. I hope to see some of you there!
2. My whole house tour is now live on Rock My Style blog
Earlier in the year, Adam Crohill from Rock My Style came to shoot the house! I was so nervous before hand and went on a bit of a spree buying accessories and bits and pieces to fill the gaps in the house.
Jordan from Ischerwood & Co – a lovely local plant shop and florist – helped me green up the space with a van full of plants, and I cleaned the house from top to bottom.
RMS has done three whole blog posts with the pictures, so if you’d like to have a full look round, make sure to check them out:
I’d love to hear what you think of the tour?
So for now, i’ll leave you with this. But I’m going to be back very soon (I promise this time) with even more good stuff to share!
