A little nursery update

Whilst I am still pondering the decoration of the nursery, I have been adding some oh-so-sweet accessories and much needed storage. I just can’t help myself!

La Redoute asked me if I would share my top tips for first-time parents on creating a gorgeous, practical nursery for their blog.

As you know I am already a fan of their interiors selection and they have so many practical and stylish items and of course, that rug (which of course I have, do you?).

Seb is lucky to have a really good sized bedroom – thank you to the Edwardian’s for being so generous with their proportions – but we were a bit short on actual storage so that was on the top of my list.

I am obsessed with this trunk which for now is home to the tiny newborn clothes that he has already grown out of. Sob. But as he grows up will be a great place to store and organise his toys and I love that it is sturdy enough to sit on for story time.

And I also created a really sweet gallery wall by his cot, including this mirror, these frames and this super-cute kite.

Head over to their blog to read my tips and see what I did with the gallery wall.

And in the meantime i’ll keep trying to decide what to stick on the walls in here. I’m torn between just painting (but what colour!), a fun feature wallpaper or even a hand painted mural. Decisions decisions!
